Carol Simler, executive director of DuPage PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter) has received the 2008 Robert Christ Affordable Housing award from the DuPage Homeownership Center, while Mary Pat Wesche, partner CPA/CFP with Forum Financial in Schaumburg, has been named president of the DuPage PADS’ board of directors.

The Sixth Annual West Suburban Philanthropic Network Awards recognized 2008 honorees Judith Wagner, WSPN distinguished service award; UPS Chicago Area Consolidation Hub, corporate philanthropic award; Rev. Dr. Scott Mitchell, executive director for the Samaritan Interfaith Counseling Center, nonprofit executive of the year; James Armbruster, nonprofit volunteer of the year; Deborah Rickert, humanitarian of the year; Sally Porter, philanthropic leadership award; Lillian Neale Campbell, philanthropist of the year.
