Monday, July 28
The Schaumburg Flyers will be hosting their 10th annual charity golf outing to benefit Alexian Brothers Foundation at Villa Olivia Country Club, 1401 W. Lake Street, Bartlett. Check-in will begin at 1:00 PM with a shotgun start at 1:30 PM. Cocktails, dinner, golfing awards, and raffle prizes will follow golf. Cost is $155 per golfer, $600 per foursome, or $700 per foursome with a hole sponsorship. All participants will have the opportunity to play with a Schaumburg Flyers player or coach for the day. The Carol Stream Chamber of Commerce will host its 2008 Golf Classic at Klein Creek Golf Club, 1 N. 333 Pleasant Hill Road, Winfield. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m., lunch at 11 a.m., shotgun start at noon with a dinner banquet to follow. The Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 2008 golf outing at Seven Bridges Golf Club, 1 Mulligan Drive, Woodridge. Registration at noon, box lunch at 12:30 p.m., shotgun start at 1:30 p.m., cocktails at 6:30 p.m., dinner at 7:30 p.m. Cost is $135 per golfer, $40 for dinner only. The Addison Chamber of Commerce & Industry will host its golf outing at Bloomingdale Golf Club, 181 Glen Ellyn Road, Bloomingdale. Continental breakfast at 7 a.m., shotgun start at 9 a.m., dinner, raffle and silent auction to follow. Can't golf? Come for the "Un-golfers" tournament and dinner from 2-4 p.m. Cost is $130 per person for golf, lunch and dinner; $90 for golf only; $50 for un-golfers tournament and dinner; $40 for dinner only. Northern Illinois Painting and Drywall Institute (NiPDi) will host its annual golf outing at Mill Creek Golf Club, 39W525 Herrington Drive, Geneva. All proceeds to benefit NiPDi's Larry Nedrow Scholarship fund. The Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry will host its 2008 annual golf outing at Joliet Country Club, 1009 Spencer Road, Joliet. Registration for a.m. golf at 7 a.m., morning tee off (scramble format) at 7:30 a.m., registration for p.m. golf at 11 p.m, 11:30 lunch, afternoon tee off at 1 p.m, cocktails at 6 p.m, dinner at 7:15 p.m. Cost is $175 per person, $50 for dinner only. The St. Charles Chamber of Commerce will host its 33rd annual golf outing at Eagle Brook Country Club, 2288 Fargo Blvd., Geneva. The Cosley Zoo Foundation will host the 25th Annual Cosley Classic Golf Outing at Arrowhead Golf Club, 26W151 Butterfield Road, Wheaton. Registration at 9 a.m., scramble start at 10 a.m., 19th hole at the Anvil Club opens at 3:30, steak and lobster dinner at 5:30. Cost is $155 and includes lunch. Dinner is $65. The Edward Foundation of Edward Hospital will host a charity golf tournament at Cress Creek Country Club, 1215 Royal St. George Drive, Naperville. Shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Cost is $600 per person, $2,250 per foursome, $100 dinner only. Golf cost includes buffet lunch, team photo, gift bag, cocktail party and awards dinner. Thursday, Aug. 14
The Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce will host its invitational 1908 scramble golf outing at Highlands Golf Course, 875 Sports Way, Elgin. Two shotgun rounds to choose from: 7:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Early round includes continental breakfast at 6:30 a.m and costs $125. Late round includes lunch and dinner and costs $145. La Grange Memorial Hospital will host its 9th annual golf classic "Keeping Your Heart Health up to Par" at La Grange Country Club, 620 S.
